Brighton, known as the 'gateway to Presqu'ile', is a quiet and friendly town located on the north shore of Lake Ontario just 90 minutes east of Toronto. With a population of over 4,700 people, the town enjoys big town amenities but with a small town feel.

Lake Ontario, The Apple Route, The Waterfront Trail and Presqu'ile Provincial Park are at your doorstep. The countryside, the picturesque rolling hills of Northumberland, is dotted with farms, wetlands, conservation areas, forests and meadows. Whether you're a land or water enthusiast - hiking, biking, golfing, lawn bowling, sailing, boating, fishing and bird watching - are just moments away.

Shopping is in town with a pharmacies, major grocery stores and many other handy retail outlets to meet your every need.

Of special significance is the new state-of-the-art facility, Brighton Health Services Centre, located in downtown Brighton. In addition to health care and diagnostic services, BHSC has a YMCA program. Other health care providers and services are available within the town and the surrounding area.
